The Team
Since graduating from university with a BA Hons in Dramatic Art and Dance, Cheryl has accumulated 32 years of performance and directing experience which has taken her around the UK and working in the USA. Today she resides in North London where she has established herself as a highly experienced theatre and dance practitioner working with young adults with learning difficulties.
Since becoming a Lecturer in Performing Arts 13 years ago, Cheryl launched the BTEC Performing Arts Course for Supported Learning at Barnet and Southgate College. Here she was to be awarded Most Inspirational Tutor for her work on this course, and most recently Personal Tutor of the Year. Cheryl soon started to see some incredible talent emerging on her course and recognised the need to develop and encourage this further. Thus New Horizons Theatre Company was founded, and since it began 11 years ago it has grown from strength to strength.

“I have been involved backstage for a couple of shows and have always admired the empathy, understanding and passion Cheryl gives to every individual company member and the hard work by all that goes into each show. I am looking forward to being part of the company”
She is very happy and excited to walk the boards of the stage encouraging and supporting the actors.
